No update in a while, but we've managed to clear Bastion and up through Nefarian in Blackwing. This is last week after we taunted a deaf dragon with gongs and then stole all his loot.

Next up: there's an elderly ogre mage out in Nagrand; we're going to scam him out of his retirement savings.

Aside from the Baradin Hold raid boss, Magmaw and Halfus were our first kills in the Cataclysm era. Personally, I find how the fights have been tuned in terms of raid damage and dps to be a lot more fun than previous expansions - looking forward to the heroic versions. Congratulations to our first round of loot winners.

We're back.

It took about 3 weeks of intermittent attempts and another 5% bump in the buff, but we killed Lich King in 10-man for the first time and earned the first set of Kingslayer titles. Heroic modes to come.

Downed Sindragosa-10 in a rather anti-climactic fashion last night. The Lich King fight definitely feels appropriate for the current endgame content.

I haven't done any updates in a looong time, but last April, Shadow Protectorate was still actively running 25-man Ulduar - here are some shots from some of those raids. We had cleared to Mimiron, but after that began to focus more seriously on 10-man content.


Damnit, Hodur!

This shot is from the week of Noblegarden last year and I guess we had a lot of rabbit-inducing branches in the raid; either that or those Monty Python rabbits with their sharp, pointy teeth finally had their revenge.

This was the first boss in Ulduar-25 worthy of a screenshot - we downed Deconstructor almost a year ago today.

I've been off on vacation and didn't get to this before I left, but we finished off the current content a couple weeks ago.

I know it's been ages since an update, but new 10-man and early 25-man content didn't feel like enough of a challenge that we had to spend more than an hour or so working on any fight. Intro content is great, but I'm hoping Blizzard will be quick to get something new out there.

Oh yeah, and we cleared Naxx a couple weeks ago.

It took a couple solid nights of wipes, but with everyone showing up tonight, Brutallus died before the enrage on our first kill, with none dead.

Congratulations to our first set of belt winners: Zugar, Drogas, and Pigg.

It took a while to get momentum going in the new zone given the ramp-up in concentration and difficulty, but we got Kalecgos after a couple hours of tries on a very solid day of learning attempts.

After two full sessions, and learning to ignore Maiev's worthless traps after several sub 20% wipes, Illidan was crrushed smoothly with 24 people alive.

I'd like to thank everyone over the last 3 months for all their farming, willingness to respec (sometimes several times a day), putting up with me on vent, and showing up so well prepared (especially on Archimonde and Illidan.)

Congratulations to Killjoy, Sukani, Mordias, and Dasein for our first Illidan loot of many to come.

It took eight weeks of attempts, but we finally got the stoppable force tab down at the beginning of February. Thanks everyone for your contributions; it was a fun game.
